MILITARY MINISTRY
BUILDING A COMMUNITY TO SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER
The FBCSA Military Ministry is planning to create opportunities to serve Active-Duty, Veterans, Retirees, and their families. Together, we want to build a community whose mission is to support one another through:
• Prayer for Service Members, Veterans, Retirees and Families
• Community among Service Members, Veterans, Retirees & Families
• Opportunities to Serve • Opportunities to be Served
You may not want to serve with active outreach or regular missions. This is Ok. This ministry is what you make of it and it’s here to serve YOU and those in our military city. The main goal should always be to bring people into a relationship with Jesus. But we need to have relationships to begin with. Help FBC connect everyone who is active or retired military. We need to make sure the church remembers to acknowledge days such as Veterans Day coming up Nov 11. This is where you come in.There are several parts to the military ministry here at church,
We need someone to be in charge of fellowship events and holidays such as Veterans Day coming up. We need someone to help with the prayer wall TV downstairs and finding veterans in need, someone to coordinate opportunities to serve, and someone to organize meetings, communicate and recruit. If you would like to help volunteer in any of these ways...
If you or your family know of an Active-Duty, Veteran or Retired service member, we would like to honor them by praying for them and featuring them on our "Praying For Our Troops" military display. To submit photo & info:
